How is Homefire’s sustainable wood manufactured?
All the firewood we sell originates from sustainable forests. These areas are entirely regenerative and have been maintained as sustainable forests for decades by the Latvian Forestry Commission. When one tree is cut down, another takes its place and ensures that the cyclical, sustainable nature of our wood is maintained. In fact, when Latvia began this sustainable project decades ago, the country has seen an increase from 27% to 52% in wooded areas. The result? A healthier environment and a sustainable source of energy.
