I was amazed that after 2 long burns, the ash tray was only just half filled. It produces hardly any ash. However it belts out very high in a stove. After 10 hours of burning the fire was still going, enough to just add more coal to keep the stove burning. Possibly the best coal producing hardly any ash.

I've been buying this coal from home fires for over a year now. The service is excellent. You can order over the phone or online and delivery is about a week. I'm moving to Wales soon and have been told that they deliver there ,much to my relief.!The coal comes in bags by a very friendly driver . It burns very hot and leaves just ash in the pan. If you close the fire vent right down at night its usually still warm and red in the morning if you have stacked it enough very pleased but I have to say its extremely sad the local coal merchants have gone.

Excellent product, use on our multi fuel fire, burns well, hot and not a lot of ash. Would recommend. Delivery driver so helpful, polite and cheerful. Logs also purchased from this company, again excellent product. Will continue to use this company. Delivery date and time notified and kept to. Five stars.

If you would like to delay or rearrange deliveries this could be done from your main logged on front page, and not have to go back to old emails to find the “Homefire Manage Subscription” link, that's IF you kept the email in the first place.

If you could include delivery instructions ie, at the side of the porch, or the bins ect, to cover if you are out.
